PASSENGER NOTICE - 91 SERVICE CHANGE, STARTING 20th SEPTEMBER 2021
Please find below the link to the newly revised 91 timetable, commencing 20th September 2021. The 06:45am service from Sudbury to Hadleigh has been cancelled due to low passenger numbers, making the service no longer sustainable.
The Hadleigh to Ipswich section of the same route will still be operating but departing Hadleigh High School 10 minutes earlier, 07:10am. The 08:15am from Ipswich to Hadleigh has also been brought forward, now departing at 07:45am and operating via Duke Street Hintlesham as a 91B to accommodate Hadleigh High School students.
We apologise for any inconvenience that these changes may cause.
**Notice of Service 91 fare increases**
Due to ever increasing costs, all bus fares on the 91 Service will rise by: 50p on a single, £1 on a return and £4.50 on 10 journey tickets - with effect from Monday 4th October 2021. Unfortunately a 10 journey ticket from Sudbury/Cornard/Newton Green will exceed the £45 contactless payment threshold and will therefore have to be paid for in cash.
We would encourage passengers to make the most of purchasing NON expiring 10 journey tickets in bulk at the current prices before the increase is implemented.
Although it is no longer mandatory, we would like to encourage our passengers to consider the continuing use of face coverings (unless you are exempt), especially on the busier bus routes throughout the day. WE THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT, PLEASE STAY SAFE!!!
Please be assured that we are taking measures to enhance sanitation on our buses and coaches by operating an even more robust cleaning schedule and we recommend that all of our customers follow current NHS advice to reduce the risk of infection. We are also encouraging the use of contactless payment on our service buses, which keeps us safer, so please go contactless when you can.
EXCURSION & SHOW BOOKINGS
Given light to the impact of COVID-19 the decision has been made NOT to arrange any excursions for 2021. We apologise for any disappointment that this may cause but we feel that this decision is in the best interests of everyone in order to allow sufficient time for the vaccination programme to take effect.
Our office is open between 10am and 2pm Monday to Fridays. (except bank holidays)
****10 journey tickets for any of our service routes CAN be purchased on the buses from the driver using cash or contactless payment (up to the limit of £45.00). Beestons does not accept the endeavour card as we are not part of the scheme.****
