FRIDAY
An early morning departure for our drive to Dover and our Ferry across to France. We travel on through Germany, arriving at our Hotel with time to freshen up before we meet for Dinner.
SATURDAY
After a leisurely breakfast, we leave our Hotel and head to Aachen, to their Christmas Market, where you will have the whole day to spend stocking up on festive goodies. We return to our Hotel in time for our evening meal.
SUNDAY
After breakfast, you will have the whole day free to explore Monschau. The town is set in a deep valley on the edge of the River Ruhr and is a truly fairytale setting. Enjoy the festivities of the Christmas Market and perhaps pay a visit to the Glassworks and Craft Market - definately not to be missed. All in all, a perfect shopping experience. Once again, your evening meal will be served at the Hotel after which you will have the evening at leisure to do as you wish.
MONDAY
After breakfast, we depart Monschau and retrace our route back to Calais, where we stop for a couple of hours at Citie Europe, to stock up on wines and groceries ready for the big day. Alternatively, you may like to enjoy a typical French meal. We then board a late afternoon Ferry across to Dover, arriving back at our local departure points mid evening, well prepared for Christmas.
