DICKENS CHRISTMAS MARKET @ ROCHESTER CASTLE

Carry out your Christmas shopping in style this year with a visit to Kent and the Dickens Christmas Market, the UK's largest Authentic German Christmas Market.  As well as a giant Christmas tree, bandstand and carousel, the market features over 300 German-style Christmas Chalets, selling a huge range of festive food and drink, as well as a wide variety of gifts and hand-crafted items which are also on sale.  The Castle walls are illuminated in traditional festive colours and trees will be sprinkled with glittering fairy lights.  Visitors will be welcomed by Carol singers performing traditional Christmas songs, and street entertainers and actors playing Dickensian characters, will mingle with the crowd throughout the market.  During your break, you will also have time to spend at Lakeside, the perfect place to finish off any Christmas shopping not done at the spectacular Dickens Christmas Market.

SUNDAY
A morning departure for our drive to Kent and our Hotel in Chatham.  After check in, you will have the evening free - perhaps to enjoy a meal in the Hotel Restaurant, or wander into Chatham centre to explore what is on offer.
MONDAY
After breakfast, your Driver will take you into Rochester, where you will have a full day to spend at the Christmas Market.  Don't forget to take a stroll along the river Medway and visit Rochester's picture-postcard Victorian High Street, with its selection of unique shops.  Your Driver will collect you at the end of the day and return you to your Hotel for the evening.
TUESDAY
We depart our Hotel after breakfast and head to Lakeside Shopping Centre for a full day of Christmas Shopping, before being collected at 5 pm to make the return journey home.
