All our holidays coaches are owned and maintained by ourselves to a high standard, assuring your comfort and safety at all times. On board you will find reclining seats W.C. and refreshment facilities. On selected holidays, escorted air conditioned coaches with extended leg room will be used. This service will be indicated in your "Holiday Includes" section.
In accordance with package travel regulations Beestons (Hadleigh) Ltd operate a trust account held by Lloyds TSB, 27 High Street, Colchester, Essex CO11 PU to insure all monies paid are protected.
To keep the cost of our holiday down and to stop our passengers having endless hours of unnecessary pick ups, we occasionally use taxis and minibuses to take you the short distance to your main holiday coach. This helps us keep our departure points to a minimum, but please remember WE CANNOT pick up and drop off at everybody's front door. ALL OUR PICK UPS AND DROP OFFS HAVE TO REMAIN ON ROUTE.
On all European travel, whether a day trip, weekend break or longer holiday, ONLY A 10 YEAR PASSPORT IS ACCEPTABLE.
"Express Night Traveller" holidays advertised in this brochure enables us to keep the price of your holiday down and also gives you longer at your chosen resort. All coaches used for this type of holiday will onboard entertainment, extended leg room, WC, air conditioning and hostess service throughout your journey offering hot and cold drinks. For your comfort we suggest you bring a neck pillow or small cushion. Comfort stops will be made at regular intervals throughout your journey.
All Hotels and Holiday Centres featured on this website have been personally visited by us or a member of our staff. All rooms have private facilities i.e. bath or shower, W.C. with twin/double beds. Some hotels have more amenities than others as every hotel does vary. They range from small family run hotels to large luxury hotels. Please check your chosen holiday itinerary for hotel/holiday centre descriptions.
Almost all our holidays include breakfast and dinner daily (half board) where stated. Set menus are usually provided on Continental and some British holidays. Please remember when travelling abroad that food will vary from country to country and it will also be prepared differently from what we are used to. Breakfast on the Continent usually consists of rolls and butter, with preserves and coffee. Some hotels provide a buffet breakfast. In Britain and Ireland a full English Breakfast is usually served.
Most continental hotels do not have tea/coffee making facilities in bedrooms. Some hotels do not allow you to take your own kettle or heating elements due to fire risks. Before travelling, please check whether these facilities are available.
| What if I need extra help? |
| With our variety of holidays, we try to have something suitable for everyone. If you are disabled or have special needs, some of our holidays involve a great deal of travelling and changes of hotel, so therefore it will not always be possible to provide a sufficient level of care and attention, particularly in cases of severe mobility problems. To help you select the best, most suitable holiday, please give us a ring before booking to discuss your requirements.
If you are a vegetarian or need a special diet, cannot eat certain foods, use lifts, or stairs, are taking prescribed medicine that needs extra care, or must have twin beds, cannot manage to carry your luggage (as porterage is not always provided, please ensure your suitcases are of a manegeable size), PLEASE indicate this on your booking form under "Special Requests". This will enable us to make sure your holiday runs smoothly and your requests are fulfilled. Failure to notify us of any of the above may result in your requirements not being met.
Please can you ensure that you only bring one medium sized suitcase plus one hand luggage bag per person. When travelling as a couple we suggest that for tours with overnight stops, you pack one suitcase for en route and the other for your main stay.
Most meal stops, both in the UK and Europe, have to be taken at Motorway services, as there are ample toilet facilities, shops for any last minute purchases and close, safe parking for our coach. As we are aware of the high cost of purchasing meals and drinks etc. at these establishments, we now suggest you bring your own packed lunches etc, which can be consumed on the coach. Hot and cold drinks are available on board your holiday coach.
